Event Medical Standbys Explorer Program
Event Medical Standbys is proud to offer an Explorer Program. Registered through the Ventura County Council Boy Scouts 'Learning for Life' program, we are able to provide real world experience for youth from the ages of 14 - 21. Our Explorers get a Special Uniform, and Badge when they work, and are allowed to go with us on calls, assist in treating patients, and get special training by our experienced EMT's. The Explorer's will be assigned to either one of the Ambulances (303, 304), our Rescue Truck
(306) or our foot patrol.
